Sale deed or mutation khasra number different
2 years ago
A.Hi,
Before you go for the transfer deed, you can conveniently get the mutation number and the khasra number corrected at the municipal corporation office or the revenue department. Then you can also go gift deed without facing any further issues in the procedure of the transfer.
If you find my answer helpful then kindly rate me.

A.Hi,
Mutation is the change of title ownership from one person to another when the property is sold or transferred. By mutating a property, the new owner gets the title of the property recorded on his/her name in the land revenue department and the government is able to charge property tax from the rightful owner. So the ownership title should be in your name even if khasra is different. You can get it rectified in the sub-registrar's office.

In the deed everything is written and stated that everything is for the same land. All mutations and Khasar numbers indicate the same plot. Along with this, if possible, get a declaration and a half done so that everything is clear.
