Hi, I am planning to buy thrid floor in Delhi with roof. However, most of the flats does not have approved map for thrid floor since earlier only 2 floors were allowed. People says its legal even if you dont have passed map. This is a 48 meters property constructed on plot. Is it safe to buy property

Although the maximum height allowed for a property on a residential plot is of 15 meters but still consult a property lawyer for better understanding and visit the municipality to chrck regarding rules and floor plan issue.

A.Hello
The maximum height allowed for a residential property in delhi is 15 meters(49 feet arpox). And government is even planning ti increase it to 17 meters as per the latest laws and news. So it would be legal but still visit the municipality for the same and ask them regarding that you don't have floor plan so are you allowed or not.

A.You need to visit the Municipality and get the proper picture before you put even single Rupeee into it. Unless you are dead sure that it legal do not invest into it. Hire a good property lawyer from Delhi and discuss this him and then make the move.
