Hello,
I am planning to buy agricultural land in Karnataka.
My grandfather is a farmer and my father was a state government employee. So, after my grandfather and father the land is transferred to grandmother and then to my mother. I don't have any agricultural land in my name but my mother is owning agricultural land transferred from my grandmother. Is this sufficient to prove that I am from agricultural background? Also, My income is few thousands less than 25 lakhs.
Please let me know Am I eligible to buy agricultural land in Karnataka.

A.Aap agriculture property purchase karne ke liye aajad hai. But kuch state aise hai jinohne out side ke aadmi ko koi bhi property kharidne ke liye partibandh lga rakha hhai.Jaise uthrakhand. Himachal etc.ab karnataka dawara aisa koi kanoon bana rakha hai ya nhi. Yadi nhi hai tab aap karnataka me property purchase kar sakte hai..
Purchase karne se pahle aap ko yah jaan lena jarrori hai ki koi kanoon to nhi hai. Ki out sider property purchase nhi kar sakta.

A.Hello
There is no need for you to prove that you are from agriculture background to buy agriculture land anywhere in the country. Although there a certain land which are reserved for reserved category. Only the people belonging to that category can buy that land. But there is no provision which bars anyone to buy agriculture land or commercial land.
Thank You

A.There's no legal bar or restriction set on any person for buying or selling agricultural or non agricultural land especially owing to his professional background or even otherwise but if you are asking regarding loan avail in respect of what you earn than you will have to check this from your bank whether and how much amount can be approved as per your salary and overall cibil score etc which bank will take care of regarding loan sanction procedure. Thank you.

A.As far knowledge goes there is no bar on buying any agricultural land by anybody in any state and there cannot be. If there is a law or rule like that then it is unconstitutional.
