Allocation of Plot subdivision numbering - Podi

A large potion of a plot which has a single survey plot no. We applied for our property to get a separate subdivision no/podi( PODI Means de-marking / bifurcating land pertaining to right owner and approving Phahani / Khata to the parties . it is Mostly for grant lands . they come with a P number ( pending number ) and the surveyor measured the lan and suppose to give the map for further processing of plotting. Now he says that there is a overlapping of others property which was part of this survey no previously. That portion is far away and other side of the road and need to be cleared first. How should we get our side to be done?
A.Dear Sir,
You may go in appeal in survey department or approach High Court for appropriate directions. Mostly the revenue authorities have to be bribed to get your work done otherwise to get it done legally without any corruption then you have to approach High Court.

A.Hi,
The applicant has to visit Land & Land Reform department Office for Subdividing land. You can specify mode of acquisition of land with a draft proposal for sub division, then affix a Court-fee stamp as advised by authorities on the form. After the tehsildar approves it, you will get your order.

A.Hi,
If you want to get any kind of rectification done on your property papers, you may approach your local tehsildar. Also, you can take the assistance of the revenue inspector and get to know of any mutation can be done.
