We had a house in delhi which was quite old & needed to reconstruction. So we demolished the old house but when started to reconstruct, our neighbor started to threatening us just for an inch of wall coming in their land n that's according to them. So the work has been on hold for last 2 years. Even when we try to do some cleaning activity they come at us with violent intent n abusing us even threatening us with grave consequences. We have tried to talk out the matter with them many times but they just don't listen. We submitted several written complaints to police during this period no concrete action has been taken till date. Please advice in this matter.
PS: if we goes by their logic, then we have a claim on their area more than they are claiming from us. They are denying that also. Since both the lands are transferred from our ancestors as legacy so both the parties have no legal papers of the lands.
