I have purchased a property that was on loan i gave cheques to the seller to clear the loan amd he had deposited the cheques and the loan is closed.I have personally enquired and the bank has confirmed the loan is closed and paper will be coming after 15 days but the seller is in hurry and want the deal to be completed before the original set of papers come I have made the full payment and i am going to register the property in 2 days.my concern that if i register the property the transaction will be valid and how will i get the old property papers

You should not believe anybody unless you get everything in white and black.

If you register the property now, the transactions will be valid. However, it is recommended to change the agreement to avoid any future legal discrepancies.

A.If you are apprehensive about the transaction and insisting on original papers which is your right anyway, you can make registered agreement to sell and once papers are available there from bank you can enter into Sale Deed before the concerned Registrar of properties. However you can wait without entering into agreement to sell also.
