Gift deed from after to his married daughter

Hi
I want to know total cost involved for gift deed from father to his married daughter.
Also please advise if LBT is applicable in this case

A.There is no stamp duty or other duty on gift deed.you can approach to vidhikarya lawyer for making gift deed and registration with nominal fees.

A.There is no stamp duty, transfer fee or registration charges for movable property. Since the stamp duty and registration fees differs in each state it would be better of you take help of local lawyer. The applicable stamp duty for GIFT (IN FAVOUR OF RELATIVES AS DEFINED U/S 56 (2) OF IT ACT,1961 AND GOVT./LOCAL BODIES/UDAs) it shall be 1%, transfer duty is 1.5% on the market value or consideration whichever is higher and registration fee 0.5% (subject to a minimum of Rs.1000/- and maximum of Rs.10000/-). For a settlement deed within family members the stamp duty is 1% and there is no transfer duty.

A.The registration cost will be nominal , say within 6000 Rupees irrespective of value of property. But get it done by a good lawyer.

A.There is no stamp duty on the value of the property in case of gift deed. Go to tehsil of your area the deed writer will take some fee from you and you can also get it done online with minimum charges and then get it registered form registrar office of your area
