1. I want changes in ownership title of land which is registered on my deceased grandfather's name to his sons.
2. Change in titleship of Land share of my great-grandfather to his grand children.

A.Dear Client,
In case of legal heir you can change in titleship of the land in your name accordingly from your great-grandfather's sons . It can be done if your have the heirship certificate and other legal documents.

Hello Sir,
From where can I get heir certificate? Please let me know complete procedure to get that pending issue resolved.
I would like to ask you another issue in which a deceased father's daughter is claiming her share on an agricultural land bought 15 years ago from her mother and her uncle.

Apply for a legal heir certificate in favor of persons in whose name the property is to transferred. After that, apply to the sub-registar for transfer of name

A.If there is no Will or registered Transfer Deed in this regard, then through Legal Heir Declaration such title transfer has to be done in favour of the surviving legal heirs and heiresses of the deceased land owner following the Laws of Succession.

Is family membership certificate alongwith genealogy (issued by Panchayat Sarpanch on his letter pad) is enough to claim the land titleship or do i need something else. Thnx
