ancestral property share among children and grandchildren
2 years ago
The property is currently registered in mom's name but acquired after selling of previous self-acquired property of Dad's who expired. I, the son have a daughter (minor) and my sister a son ( major) and daughter ( minor). Does the grandson have any right in the property share as of now if sold? or later? what are rights of the granddaughters?
As per the facts which have been provided, if it is a self acquired property then she can transfer the property to whoever she wants.
Hope this clarifies your query and requirement.
Thank you.

After your mother's death without making and publishing any Will, her children will inherit that property and during their lifetime Grandchildren have no right therein.
