House property papers House property papers

My Aunty’s niece (her husband’s brother’s adopted daughter) has taken her house papers and when my Aunt asked for he house papers; the niece assaulted my Aunt who is a senior citizen ( age 71) and told her that she will beat her up if she ask for the papers and left the house.
A NCR is filed with the police at Vasai Police station. The police said they would get the original house papers back and return the same to Aunty but nothing has been done so far. When they call the niece; she simply denies having assaulted Aunty ( neighbors have witnessed) and tells the police to speak to her lawyer giving no number of the lawyer.
