Hello

I am facing 498 case from 6 years. I had filed a complaint to register fir against in-laws under Dowry prohibtion act along with
1. Copy of fir in 498A case
2.List of dowry articles submitted by in laws
3.Statements given by in laws to police
4. Photograph showing in-laws giving dowry
4. Judgement of Smt. Neera Singh vs The State
5. Judgement of Dr. Kamini Lau in Uma Devi vs Sunil Garg

Judge has rejected the application "In the entire application the applicant has nowhere mentioned whatis date of incident how and what manner accused persons gave dowry to theapplicant/complainant & also not mentioned which dowry articles were handedover to the complainant by the accused persons. All the allegations made by thecomplainant in the present application are bald, assertion & vague without anybasis. There is nothing placed on record which shows accused have committedany cognizable offence. Hence, no cognizable offence is made out against theaccused persons.
What can I do now. File appeal in sessions court? What are chances of success?

A.Dear Madam,
The only recourse available to you is to prefer appeal before the Appellate Court and putforth all your grievances before that Court and convince the Appellate Court to reverse the judgment of Trial Court.
