How can I mortgage my share of the property inherited from my grandfather?
There are 18 legal different heirs of the same property including myself (My father, his 2 brothers & a sister and me & 2 brothers and 6 cousins)

A.Dear Sir,
Since because your portion of property is not defined out of jointly inherited property. Please find out a ways and means to mortgage by approaching concerned person that is banker etc.

A.Dear client,
if the property is not transferred to the coparceners then the mortgaging needs signatures of every legal heir. however, some of the banks accepts it if all the documents are provided properly.

Some of the banks and loan providers allow partial mortgage of a property but most of the banks do not allow it and they will need the consent of all the owners/shareholders of the property.
