Property gifting without registration

Hi. My father sold his own property and bought a site and constructed a house for his son in that money. Can my father claim that new property showing that he has spent money on the house?

A.Dear client, since your father brought the property on his name and constructed his house in his own name. Also he has not transfered his property to his son name therefore he can claim that property.

A.First of all it is important to know the ownership details of the land site and the mutation records of the said property then only legal remedies can be sought to you.

In whose name the property is registered? If it is registered in the son's name then father cannot do anything but if it is registered in the father's name then it belongs to him.
