Regarding advance amount Regarding advance amount

I paid one lakh fifty thousand advance for a property. First of all, builder didn't give me the house in the duration promised. Then due to covid, I could not register the house as my salary became half. The builder told me he can't wait. He told me he would return my money and will sell the house to somebody else. He neither sold the house nor returned my money. It has been more than two years . The builder is not registered in RERA.

A.In my humble suggestion, it is advised to approach the consumer forum or commission in order to resolve the issue. The builder in return of the consideration did not provide the required services.

A.Dear Client
Since the builder has not been able to give you the possession then you can file a case in consumer forum/commission against the deficiency of service but then you need to be careful that the builder might counter your case stating that you did not come forward for registration.
