I am planning to buy a land in chennai.
Property was initially owned by charity and sold to other person in 1979. After that it had 3 , 4 sale deed happened for that land.
Now when I approach for bank loan, lawyer is asking for court order stating permission granted for selling charity property in 1979.
Land promotor doesn't have such document.
Is this is an issue?

A.Dear Sir,
Yes, property belonging to a charity cannot be sold without the permission of the court. At your risk you may purchase it but banks are not obliged to sanction loans.

This is private charity and not public.
Now this got approval for making layout and there is 30 feet road in that survey No.
Still is there a chance for someone to take legal action?
