Property Papers - Family Dispute

Hi ,
My parents are separated since 2005 ,my father took away property Papers of house which is in my mother's name and he is not willing to return papers . We have asked him many times to return back the papers as we want to sell the property and move on but he refused. What shall I do in this case. My mother is not ready to take legal action against him . What options I can have

A.File a police complaint immediately and publish an advertisement also preparation of undertaking on stamp paper about the loss of documents of the particular property along with the text of advertisement which was published in newspaper and the police complaint number. Documents will then be attested and registered with the notary, finally you get the duplicate sale deed.

A.go to the office of Sub-Registrar where the property was registered and apply for certified copy of the deed.

A.Dear Sir,
It is not a big issue. Put a paper publication that such documents are missing and get FIR registered as missing documents and then get duplicate/certified and sell the property. Convince the purchaser.

A.Dear Client,
Your father cannot do any thing with property papers of house which is in your mother`s name. You can obtain Certified Copies of the same from Registrar`s Officer. You can caution your mother not to sign any papers on the directions of your father.

A.By advocate Rameshwor dadhe dear sir if you don't have any legal documents for property sale then go the sub registrar office in area and apply for certified copy of the property. And sale it .if your mother's are sole owner
