MY HUSBAND FILED DIVORCE PETITION AGAINST ME
HE WANTS TO WITHDRAW DIVORCE PETITION ON ME ON SOME BULSHIT CONDITIONS
HE IS ASKING TO AGREE CONDITIONS ON MOU
DOES MOU IS REQUIRED COMPULSORY FOR HIM TO SUBMIT ON COURT FOR WITHDRAWAL OF DIVORCE PETITION? and what is the use of mou to him is that benefit to him and loss to me
A.Dear Client,
Your husband can withdraw the divorce petition as it was filled by him as in he was the petitioner. MOU stands for Memorendum of Understanding. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is an agreement signed between husband and wife when they divorce mutually. It outlines the terms for mutual divorce. The couple can then submit this before the court. This type of document also explains the goal of a particular course of action. MOU will not cause you any problem it will only make this as a mutual divorce.

A.Your husband can withdraw the case any time before the passing of final order since he is the petitioner and moreover, MoU is just an agreement where terms and conditions are mentioned which are accepted by all the parties to the MoU on free consent and will without any force or pressure or coercion. It is just an evidence to implicate that a written contract exist between you and your husband.
