Cancellation of Sale deed
A property was purchased by grandfather in the name of my grandmother in 1975. A person who was very trustworthy to us executed the same property in his name by sale from my grandmother in the year 1996. My grandmother was an illiterate lady and the matter of purchase was also suppressed from my father.
Is there any option to declare the sale deed null and void from the court. Please share me relevant judgements.
A.Dear Sir,
You cannot jump to the conclusion that on production of judgments you will get sale deed cancelled. It is very hard to get a sale deed declared null and void unless you file a suit and seek such relief and it may take 2-3 years in the Trial Court.
