Ancestral Land Minor Involvement
I intend to buy 30 cents land in Andhra Pradesh, it is ancestral property, all concerned parties are ready to sign but there is minor boy aged 16 involved, he is also ready to sign. I want your suggestion as to how to involve them in the sale procedure, as I don't want him to lay a claim on the property later. Please advise me sir.
A.Hello Sir,
The minor cannot transfer the property by himself. A guardian can do this on behalf of him. Later after attaining the majority he can submitt a affidavit regarding this that he do not want the property.
