A.Hello Sir,
At present, stamp duty rates in Mumbai for urban areas is 6 percent of the property value for men and 5 percent of the same for women according to the ready reckoner rates in Maharashtra.
According to Article 34 of the Maharashtra Stamp Act, which was amended in 2017, gift deed stamp duty Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra is 3% of the property's value.
