Installation of water tank Installation of water tank

I am the owner of a flat of apartment (not yet registered) of 11 flats in nashik, Maharashtra. There is seperate water tank for kitchens and terrace/balconies of few flats. I am a patient living alone. Many times water tank becomes empty for whatever reason. I face difficult time as there is no water in kitchen I can't manage on my own by bringing water from bathroom. Can i install a water tank which would be filled from tap of my individual terrace and from that tank i can take a connection (tap) in my kitchen. Would this be treated as illegal? As per my understanding this should be considered as i am storing water in my flat just like a drum. As due to my health issues I can't lift weight i am fixing tap in kitchen. Am i have right to do this legally?

A.Hello Sir,
It would be beneficial if you consult the owner of the property regarding the matter. The owner's permission would be necessary in this case.

A.Dear client
I do not see any issue in that as long as you are storing water inside your flat and also if the society rules donot bar you from doing so.
In my opinion you should take the consent of the society for the same to avoid any troubles later on
