A.Dear Mr.Mukherjee,
First, you become the owner of your share of the Joint property.
Then you are legally competent and eligible to sale the property of your share.

A.Sine you cannot sell your undivided property so first thing for you to do is to get the partition done and then only you will be able to sell the your portion. The second way is to ask and convince all the co-owners to sell the property together.
