I am Prabu staying in USA as NRI Resident.I have a Property (Apartment) in my name in Chennai. I am planning to sell it. As per Indian law, I have to pay more taxes(like 33%) if I sell on my name as an NRI.. Is there any way i can sell without paying huge taxes ?

A.Dear Client,
You are paying tax as per the norm laid down by the Government.
The laws are made in the Parliament and State Legislature, neither you nor me , we have nothing to do with that process.We have to obey.Violation of law will attract penal action.Since you are a NRI and staying in USA think about the law of USA and do they respect the law.
Coming to tax evasion or paying less get in to some Advocates and Chartered Accountants. They will either tell you the avenues or will do the job for you.Please do not write such type of things in the Open Platform which does not give a good image.
