Property owned by a society

I would like to buy a property owned by a society, and the by-laws says right to sell, can I purchase that property or should I get court order to register that property. Please clarify with society act n law.

A.Dear Senthilvel Kumar,
If it is a property of a Society registered under the Societies of Registration Act, 1860 or equivalent State laws then you need to see the Bye laws and try to know the reasons for selling the property.
As far as my knowledge goes property can not be sold .Actually it has to be donated to a similar organisations having the similar objectives , this is the case of non profit making organisation.
