Corridor - Buy a new flat at first floor corner
10 months ago
Buy a new flat at first floor corner wala( only 3 floor 6 flat), when you climb stairs and reach on 1st floor there is 10 feet way only to my flat . As just we step on 1 st floor at 90° right 3 feet away another flat is there, same 90° degree right again stairs. In my case the 10 feet corridor belong to us in register sale deed, as this is the only path to mine flat and do not obstruct any other flat as no flat is in this path. This 10 feet length and 4 feet wide corridor which is way to only my flat but builder stop us to put iron grills said this area is common area, but we put grill on our wall . What to do, as putting grills add security to my flat and it's is necessary.
You may go through the approved building plan and common areas marked by builder in the said Plan and the Deed of Conveyance executed with you for better clarification and understanding before entering into any litigation in the matter.
A.Dear Client,
If you are confident that according to the registered sale deed the 10ft corridor belongs to you, then you have every right to add grills on that space.
The best way to counter the builder is to pursue legal action against them, which you can also do by hiring the services from any expert lawyer.
Thank you
