Property Share dispute
Hi, We are 2 daughters and 1 son in the family. My brother was in a financial problem so he promised to pay some amount once i give my share to him. I signed the document and gave him my share. My sister got her settlement. It's been close to 3 years. Now brother says he can't give me money. How can I fight back to get my share or the money? Does the law has any rule to file a case against him for cheating me?
A.Dear Client,
Until and unless we know the source of your share in the property, nothing can be responded to your insufficient query, Details like the nature of the property, i.e, whether you got your share in an ancestral property or self-acquired property, the nature settlement deed you executed to your brother for lending money, is there any money receipt given by your brother etc. So, it is requested to revert back to us with all these information to have suitable suggestion in the matter.
