Validity of Gift deed

Stamp duty and registration charges paid by Donee . is it a valid Deed or void .if void what is the responsibility of Sub Registrar.

The donor has to pay the applicable stamp duty on the property that is to be transferred to the recipient as gift. If the donee has paid it, it is void.
