I own property (Vacant house Plot) in Bangalore within BBMP limits. I want to gift the same to my spouse. What is the stamp duty and registration fee applicable please? Is it depended on the value of the property?

A.Hi client,

The valuation of the stamp duty will depend upon the value of the property. There is a specified amount fixed by the government in accordance with the village/area you are in. Contact an advocate from your jurisdiction to get the details of the charges.

Thanks and Regards

A.Dear Sir,
You may directly approach the concerned Sub-Registrar office and as per book value of your area they will decide the stamp duty and also you have to pay extra fee.
