What is the procedure to change the heirship of flat (Me and my father as owner) after father's death.

In case of joint ownership, if one owner died intested, then his share is equally shared by the serving legal heirs including you. So, if surviving legal heirs surrender their share through a registered documents then on the basis of said document you can change the status of ownership from joint to single.
