He abandoned me and my daughter 3 years old and left because of his ego and also his family also involved in his life to get a divorce from me and go for other marriage. But the thing is he is good person but only becuase of his parents words he became like that. Just filed divorce petiton also had 1 counselling with the Judge.. I told the judge I am not ready to give the divorce but he wants to gives divorce to me. But Judge told him that he will give 10 days time and think twice and should get positive response and should take me and my daughter. So, I have one more time for that hearing.. So,my question is what if he is not ready to take me and my daughter and wants divorce and want to leave me? How should Court or judge decide if iam not ready for divorce? In the next hearing? And what points I can raise that I dont want to give the divorce if he is forcefully want divorce.. could you help me with that???

A.Dear client,
If you do not want divorce, you can withdraw the divorce petition. One can submit an application desiring to withdraw the divorce petition at any point in the proceedings until the court has pronounced a Decree Absolute. Once the Decree Absolute is enunciated, the marriage is said to be lawfully dissolved. So do it before the decree is pronounced
