Fear of false domestic violence case by mother in law Fear of false domestic violence case by mother in law

My friend got married 3 months ago. There were situations happening at her husbands house concerned to her father in laws ill health, which was there from a long and was followed by his demise that happened within one month of their wedding. The couple hadn't found enough time to spend for themselves from 2 weeks after the wedding because of this reason and the traditions that was followed. But after 2 months of the wedding, her husband started claiming that there's no understanding between them and was never making an effort to build a healthy relationship and to talk to her well. All of a sudden her mother in-law also started behaving in a strange way that stressed her that most days left her with anxiety. They asked her to go home for few days and then said they were not interested to continue in this relationship without a valid reason. What is the legal help my friend could get? Though her family and friends tried to talk to her husband and his mother to understand what the actual reason is, they don't seem to make any positive approach in building a healthy relationship even though she has a solution. She's also afraid if her mother in law files a false domestic violence case against her. Please help us find a solution. Thank you.

A.Dear client,
If she is afraid that a complaint would be initiated against her, she can apply for anticipatory bail.Anticipatory bail is a legal provision that allows an accused person to apply for bail before being arrested. In India, pre-arrest bail is granted under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. It is issued only by the Sessions Court and High Court.
