one time settlement deed with wife, after she could not file any case in court
A.Dear client,
Under certain conditions, a settlement agreement can be challenged in court.
The court may also pass an order of maintenance subsequent to the passing of a decree. Thus an application for maintenance by the wife can be moved even after passing of the decree of mutual divorce as per section 25(1) of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955.
