Land Related Issue
Few months ago my mother bought one land from another person, namely A . The land was registered under the name of the father of Person A who died long ago . We told person A that we will only buy the land if it is registered under his name . Accordingly , the person A obtained warrison certificate from the panchayet and all other legal heirs of the deceased father gave registry to person A . This LR Records of Rights was issued in favour of Person A . Thereafter my mother took registry of land from person A and now the land is registered under my mother’s name . LR records of rights have also been issued . Now I am hearing that one person who claims to be one of the legal heirs wants to make case against my mother for possession of the land . Can he do this ? What steps should I take ? And in what way my mother is responsible? Because she has taken registry from the registered owner of the land only .
If they have send you any legal notice, give reply to it. And if they have filed a case against you , the. Go and contest it.
From the question given, it's not clear whether they are claiming casually or have filed case against you. Further it's not clear whether you have registered sale deed or not and who is in possession of the property.
