Property issue - my neighbour demolished my wall Property issue - my neighbour demolished my wall

During construction my neighbour demolished my wall and demand for 3 inch land or Rs. We have common wall. Due to his gunda giri, I have given 2 Lakh Rs to Thekedar for handling this. Later Delhi police start demanding 1Lakh Rs.
They compromised us and then they allowed us to do construction.
I am out side of India and my parents are senior citizen and they don't want to do any case. But I want to file case bcz I am getting anxiety attacks and feel depressed.
I lost 3 Lakh Rs due to gunda giri.

A.Dear Client,
If the demolished common wall occupies a portion of land that belongs to your neighbor, they can do so subject to permission of Civic authority and land deptt. So if the demolition is done without the permission of the concerned Civic authority, then on the complaint before the appropriate forum, your neighbor may face legal consequences. Instead of settling the issue amicably and legally, you went on meeting the unruly demands including the demand of the police which sounds like no good gesture. Now when the matter is settled between the parties, you need not be worried/anxious about unpredictable consequences that may affect the safety and security of your aged parents. Further, an Elder Help Line (No.14567) is launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment exclusively for the protection of the interest of Sr. Citizens of the Country from any kind of crisis from health to wealth, your parents may take a chance by contacting them whenever required through helpline number to resolve the matter to protect their safety and security.

A.Dear Client,
Here are some general steps you may consider:

Consult an Attorney: Seek the advice of a qualified attorney who specializes in property and construction disputes. They can help you understand your legal rights and options.

Document the Incident: Gather all relevant documents, photos, and evidence related to the demolition of your wall, the demands made by your neighbor and the police, and the payments you made. Detailed documentation can be crucial for your case.

Report to Authorities: If you believe that your neighbor or the police engaged in unlawful activities or extortion, consider filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities. Your attorney can guide you on the appropriate steps.

Seek Compensation: Discuss with your attorney the possibility of seeking compensation or restitution for the financial losses you incurred due to the demolition and extortion.

Consider Legal Action: If you wish to pursue legal action against your neighbor or the police for their actions, your attorney can help you initiate legal proceedings. This may involve filing a civil lawsuit or pursuing other legal remedies.

Support Your Parents: If your parents are senior citizens and are reluctant to be involved in legal proceedings, try to support and reassure them throughout the process. Discuss your concerns and seek their understanding.

Address Anxiety and Depression: It's important to prioritize your mental health. If you are experiencing anxiety and depression related to the situation, consider seeking support from a mental health professional or counselor who can provide guidance and coping strategies.

Stay Informed: Stay informed about the progress of any legal actions and regularly communicate with your attorney to understand your options and the potential outcomes.
Thank you.
