Related to shops owner ship in family

My father have 1 son and 4 daughters including me.my mother and father expired last year.
We have 5 shops and the property is on my mother name. My brother is taking all the rents.
So can the daughters claim the owner ship and rent amount every month?
If yes,what should I do as per the law if we daughters have to get it.

A.Dear Client,
if your mother died intestate , then the property she held the ownership shall be bestowed upon her sons and daughters. So you are a co-owner of the property. Send a legal notice to your brother asking for the rents on the said property and file a partition suit in order to claim ownership.

After the death of father all the children and your mother have equal share. Better file a suit for partition or settle the matter as earlier as possible before things become worse at the hands of your mother.

A.Yes, daughters also have rights tot he profits and proceeds of the property.
You should follow the following steps
1. Issue a legal notice asking for rents and profits every month.
2. As you also want to claim ownership on such property, you should file a partition suit and get the part of your property by way of such suit.
