A.Dear Client,
First, you have to ascertain the veracity of your brother's information from the reliable sources. If your brother's information is found true, then the question of fighting for the right to claim does not arise. However, in case there is any property left by your father intestate, then being a surviving legal heir you are entitled to an equal share in the said property along with other surviving legal heirs.

A.Dear Client,
To assert your rights, start by obtaining a copy of the death certificate and establishing legal heirship, which typically involves providing necessary documentation such as birth certificates and relationship proofs. If your father was a government employee, the Reserve Bank of India might have procedures for the settlement of financial matters post his demise.

Initiate a conversation with your siblings to gain clarity on the financial situation and discuss the division of assets. If disputes arise, consider seeking legal advice to understand your rights and explore potential legal actions if necessary. Consult a lawyer specializing in inheritance and property laws to guide you through the process and to ensure a fair distribution of your father's assets. Keep records of all communication and documentation, as it may be crucial during legal proceedings. While the situation is undoubtedly emotional, approaching it with legal guidance can help navigate the complexities associated with inheritance matters.
Thankyou
