House construction and neighbour interference House construction and neighbour interference

I've purchased the ground floor 3bhk house, and currently their is construction and renovation going on over there. I have a tree behind my house. I had warned the workers to not cut the tree several times, but due to worker's negligence they cut the tree, and my neighbours living on the upper floor, filed a complaint with the police, and they want the construction to stop. Earlier too they hindered in my construction. I've been in the police station the entire day dealing with this tree issue today. What should i do?
Are their any provisions being violated by me and how can i prevent further interferences ?

A.Dear Client,

The Government of India introduced the National Forest Policy in 1988. In accordance with the Indian Forest Act, individual states have established their own rules and regulations regarding the cutting or felling of trees. It is illegal to cut trees, even on private land, without obtaining proper permission. Anyone wishing to cut or fell a tree, whether on their property or otherwise, must secure prior approval from the Deputy Conservator of Forests Department or the designated Tree Officer under the state's Trees and Plantation Act. In the event of a complaint filed with the police station, seeking guidance from a lawyer is essential to navigate the legal process and resolve the matter appropriately.

A.Dear Client,
The National Forest Policy was brought by the Government of India in 1988. According to the Indian Forest Act, each state has laid down its own rules and regulations against the Cutting/felling of trees. Cutting trees even on private land without obtaining permission is illegal. Any person who wants to cut/fell a tree, whether in his ownership or occupancy or otherwise, must obtain prior permission from the Deputy Conservator of Forests Deptt, or the Tree Officer appointed under the state-specific Trees and Plantation Act. When a complaint is lodged with the Police Station, you need to consult with a Lawyer for proper guidance and steps to resolve the matter in the right way.
