A. Dear Sir,
Yes, there is some mesh in the above issue. Please find out any cheque bounce case was filed against your father. Properties cannot be attached that easy.

A. You write a letter to teh local SP or commissioner about the threat of those police. They either fidn him on their won or leave it but do not have any right to threaten you like that. It is immeterial when the cheque is issued.

A. Dear Client,
If he is not living with you , then do not worry simply tell them that he is not residing and you are not knowing where he is. Also do not receive or sign on any court paper of summons of his name.
Tell me he is not with you means what, he has left you and family or he is no more.
If he is no more then in that case tell them that he is no more.
In that case any borrowed money can not be recovered from rest of his family members unless he has put mortgage of his property to lender.
Thanks

A. The next time they come.
tell them you don't know where your father is as you people don't stay with them. Also, if they come again to harass you people then a FIR shall be lodged against such person who is repeatedly harassing you for a cheque not given by you and secondly in a matter where you are nowhere involved.
if in case there is case lodged under section 138 of the NI Act, you shall receive a summons from the court.
No need to worry.
Thanks

A. you need not to worry, nothing will happen,
cheque bounce is a legal liabilty and only your father is liable, other family members need not to worry,
but if the said person files suit for recovery then you need to be a bit worry,
anyway,
where is your father?
do call/mail me for a detailed discussion

i know he is not living with you but what i want to know is that where he livesnow? and whether he is alive? (pls don't mind), and why does he live separate?

Reply

A. It depends on the validity of cheque. I think you need to look into the date of the cheque and then take a justified action accordingly.
