Construction on private terrace

I have a private terrace of 575 sqft can i build a room and a bathroom on that terrace.
area covered by terrace is in the budling plan and i have paid stamp duty and registration for both room and terrrace area. Do i need to take permission or can i construct whatever i want to on the terrace.
A.Dear client, you can build whatever you want in your private property. If you are living in a municipality area you have to take municipality or development authority permission for building a additional rooms on the terrace.

Without following the procedures and obtaining permission from the municipal authority that approves the building plan conversion of an open terrace into a room along with a bathroom makes your construction an unauthorized construction and also changes the Schedule of the property as mentioned in the Deed of conveyance making the document infructuous.
