Regarding double registration EC and Patta Regarding double registration EC and Patta

My land is in perungalathur... It's 1800sqft plot...In 1991 I purchased it in the name of my Dad.. I also have the Patta in his name.. I obtained power from him for the above land.. In 1997 my father passed away... I did not go and visit the land as I was in Calcutta... Now recently I visited the land but was not able to identify it... I went to the registrar office.. They said it has been double registered... I applied for EC... From 1991 to 2019...EC reflects my dads name only... When I went and enquired they say that the EC is not a valid document and in the Patta and revenue record somebody else's name is there... What do I do?. Please guide me on how to go about it?

A.Dear Sir,
You simply approach local Civil Court and get an injunction order on the basis of EC and other documents let the other person come to the Court and putforth his defence.

Thanks.

A.Enquire about who has double registered such plot and get his name.
File a police complaint against the same.
Send that person a legal notice or else you can directly file a declaration suit for the court to declare such property as your property and also solve the dispute of the double registry on that piece of land.
Please do have all valid documents which shall prove you to be the rightful owner of the property and shall act as evidence.
Thanks
