Money Distribution problem in family Money Distribution problem in family

I belongs to HINDU religion, my father died working in a PSU (Public Sector Unit) hence company transferred some money (my father’s remaining job salary) as a compensation in my mother's account according to their policy. My father didn't made any will or nominee in his life, so my question is – According to Indian Law "Can any family member (like my grandmother, brother etc. ) challenge that compensated money for distribution?"

It's simple this is not the case of succession.
According to hindu succession act joint family property and valuable are subject to partition and claims but since your father is not karta moreover he is employed in a psu hence service or any emollument is not a subject of partition .

Thank you so much for the reply, but don't know why most of the senior lawyers said partition will be done.
