Selling my share of property Selling my share of property

We have a two storied house which we have decided to give it to a promoter for construction of a residential building but still the agreement is not signed. We are three brothers and the promoter will give each of us a flat of equal area. Suddenly I am in need of money so I want to sell my 1/3 rd share to the promoter at the time of registration of agreement.
Can I get the money by selling now or will I have to wait for the completion of the construction of the building ?
Is there any hard and fast rule that a promoter will only pay after the construction of the building is completed ?

A.Dear Sir,
There is no hard and fast rule that promoter will pay only after construction. During the construction also you can sell your share to any other person if promoter and your other brothers not willing to purchase your share. Failing which you may file a suit and try to stop entire construction itself.
