Someone illegally sold my land without my knowledge

I have bought a plot 200 sq yds in the city(Hyderabad) outskirts in 1998, but I have found recently it is in the name of someone else name, what should I do now ?

A.immediately file a civil suit claiming your property with an application to restrain the present known person in possession not to sale, alienate, transfer, mortgage, or raise any construction on the property till final decision of the case,
at the same time file a police complaint,

A.Collect proof regarding the same and lodge a complaint in the police station nearer to your land.
