Right of second husband over gift deed registered in name of widow by first husband
4 years ago
I am a Muslim and I have a sister. My father passed away 6 years back and have passed his self acquired property through a gift deed into the name of myself, my sister and my mother jointly before his death. Now my mother wants to remarry and I would like to know whether my stepfather and his kids from his first marriage have any rights over the property gifted to us by my father,
Thanks
A.Dear Sir,
It is the exclusive property of wife and second husband has no rights.
