What action can we take against a company if it is not paying our bills?

A. Dear Client,
See filing a criminal case for non payment is not a good idea as that will not help you to get the money but in the worst case the other party MAY get in prison but very rare.
For payment of due amount you will have to file a civil case and recover the money. So, you can start with sending them a legal notice first then followed by a civil suit.
Also You can initiate ODR- Online Dispute Resolution process.
Thankyou

If such extended online meetings become a regular occurrence and impact work-life balance, employees ...ReadMore

A. Dear Client,
Once the EMI against a loan is not repaid for consecutive 3 times by the borrower for any reason whatsoever, it is treated by the Bank as NPA. Accordingly, the Bank sends notice to the Borrower asking him/her for repayment of the entire dues lying against the loan. In the absence of any response from the Borrower, the Bank started the routine process of action prescribed under relevant laws for recovery of debt lying outstanding against the Borrower and the Guarantor. Once a dispute is resolved and NOC is issued by the Bank informing the closure of the dispute, the same cannot be reopened ex-parte without giving you a notice informing you of the reason behind the reopening of a closed dispute which is contrary to the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) Fair Practice Code and Code of Bank’s Commitment to Customers. So, in the given scenario, a complaint under the RBI integrated Ombudsman scheme, 2021. shall be made online on the portal (https://c ...ReadMore

A. Dear Client,
Apart from other reasons, a bank account is frozen by the Bank on the instruction of the Cyber Crime Cell on receipt of a complaint of a fraudulent or suspicious transaction. This means that the account holder cannot access the funds in the account, and cannot make any transactions. The account shall remain inoperative/frozen until the cybercrime complaint is investigated and resolved. The length of time it takes to investigate a cybercrime can vary greatly depending on the complex ...ReadMore
