The lender should lend the money only after signing the promissory note or the loan agreement which has the terms and conditions stated clearly. In case of default in the payment of money, the lender can approach the court and file a civil suit for recovery of money or a criminal suit for fraud/ breach of an agreement. A. Recovery agents cannot harass you nor they can visit your house to make such demand. Report the matter to police. Let them file case for recovery and if things improve you can settle case in court also.

You can file a complaint with the police for extortion and criminal intimidation under Sections 383, 503 and 506 of the IPC.

Yes, you can file a complaint against them under Sections 503, 506 and 509 IPC. Their actions of calling and abusing your relatives amounts to harassment.
In addition, you can sue them for damaging your reputation under Section 499 and 500 IPC.
