What has been done to you is not only illegal but also inhuman. You should send them a strongly worded legal notice through a an Advocate and make them pay all the dues including the salary for the notice period. You need to bring to their notice that they have committed blunder and they need to pay the dues or else you can take legal action against them

A. I guess you are working in a public sector organization. If they have policy of sabbatical then must give you a reason for rejection if not then you will have take it up with the HR and find out a tailored solution for this scenario.
