You can challenge it but you will have to prove your assertions. Institute the suit in the lifetime of your father, so that it is easier for to explain the bonafideness of the suit.

A. people want to live in nucleus family instead of joint family. If you were living in joint family then it was not possible for someone to disturb due to accident. There can be other ways and reasons for adultery as joint family makes it difficult but cant stop 100% also. so it was your fault also.
