My dad is 78yrs old , his deceased brother's wife is 75 yrs . Both stay in different districts. Agricultural land is some other district. Can my dad put case for partition in his residing district court or should he go for district court where the property is there?

A.Hello,
The suit seeking the partition may be filed only in the local limits of the property where it is situated

A.Hi,
The suit could only be filed within the limits of the property i.e. District court where that property is situated.

A.He can file a case where property is situated but he can appoint any attorney to file and proceed a case on his behalf.
