One of uncle (not alive) transferred land to his wife name( not alive) using gift deed from grandma(not alive) , another uncle become witness to these agreements. Portan of land which grandmother transferred include land register to her name as well as land register to my grandfather name after his death.ideally land owned by grand parents have to distributed equally among my all my uncle. Now we have reached to agreement and my uncle son are ready for distribution among other uncles. I want know is there a legal way to transfer land back to all other uncle name without paying stamp duty

A.Dear Client
You need to cancel all the partition deeds held before, and write new partition deed with all declared shares with all meets and bounds to avoid future legal issues

A.Hello,
You have to pay the stamp duty as it is a legal requirement of transferring the titles.

A.Hi,
Paying stamp duty is one of the legal requirements of transferring property, otherwise property would not be considered as transferred.
